It is very important that you bear in mind that from 15 march, the day that the Lloyds Bank International computer systems will be integrated into those of the Banco Sabadell group, all accesses via online banking contracts signed in the name of legal persons, companies, will cease to be operative.
According to the type of user that was using this access previously, the steps to take to maintain a compatible profile at Banco Sabadell are:
- If the online banking contract with the company as accountholder is used by persons who are listed as authorised signatories for the company’s account, it is important to ensure that they have their own online banking access, in their own name, to be able to continue operating normally following the migration, by accessing the service using their own personal identification.
- If, on the other hand, your company is holder of an online banking contract that is used by persons not authorised to operate the account, it is extremely important to consider that BS Online contemplates the need for other users that do not have a direct link with the company’s account to access it for consultation or even to operate with your company’s products. The alternative that we propose so that these users can continue accessing the account means that any authorised signatory can easily create the type of access that is best adapted to their needs:
- LAKs , Limited Access Keys, are accesses for consultation designed to enable third parties to visualise your company’s products and, at most, to set up transactions that will remain pending signature by authorised signatories, except in the sending of N19 bills, the payment of taxes and the depositing of cheques, which are executed without subsequent signature.
- A Secondary Card is also an access to Distance Banking differentiated to that of authorised signatories, in the form of a second code card that any authorised signatory for the account may request from Banco Sabadell. Once fully configured, Secondary Card users can access the account for consultation purposes or even transactions, with the same authority as the authorised signatory with determined accounts which are decided by the authorised signatory for the account when configuring the card.
These types of access can be requested by any authorised signatory for the account by calling 902 100 079 before 15 March. From that date onwards, LAKs can be created directly via BS Online and secondary cards can be requested from your branch.
